I fully cleared the Path of the Valkyrie and got the A ending. This is one of my most satisfying gaming moments in recent memory. The Path of the Crystal was great, but the Path of the Valkyrie is where the game really starts to glow. It's tremendous fun, and it feels like the version of the game the designers really want you to play. It is definitely not just a tacked-on hard mode.

I'm not done with Volgarr. I know I'll be back for more.

I'm curious to know what others think of this mode. Have you cleared it? Still working on it? Worth the effort, or a waste of time?
Congrats on your clear!

As to your question I cleared ending A just shortly before I posted the "Great game" topic. I definitely enjoyed the mechanics of how path of the Valkyrie worked, as once I discovered it I stopped using the level skip altogether and instead would start every play session at the beginning and make my way back to where I was up to whilst getting as far as I could in any Path of the Valkyrie levels I made it to.

I agree, if anything normal mode is the tutorial for the real game.

I'm sure you'll replay it like you'd replay a good song. ;)

I still play through the game from time to time, and it's very satisfying to be able to go through the game masterfully.
