They really suck. Not just the laughable U-turn animation (that lasts roughly one second), but the front wheel close-up that's just basically completely disproportionate and consisting of moving dust and white reflections on the tire to give the illusion of movement while everything else is static.

This is the best pixel art you guys have seen in the industry?! Jeez... I could think of a dozen games that do a way better job with pixel art.

I can't understand you. I really enjoyed that bike wheel animation, the song is great as well.

This post was meant as a bit of a joke, sorry... :/

My main goal was to show that art is subjective, and just because a very vocal group of people says a certain thing is the most gorgeous they've ever seen, that doesn't make it "true".

The pixel art in this game looked amazing, to me. In trailers and screenshots. In-game, though? Not so much. Not to say that it's bad, I don't have the right to say something is awful, when it comes to art design, but I DO find it subpar when compared to other pixel art games like Owlboy, Desert Child (which is SUPERB), Hyper Light Drifter, Momodora (made by a Brazilian, by the way), Odallus + Oniken (made by yet another Brazilian), Iconoclasts, or any of the Wadjet Eye-published games, if we want to keep it focused on point & click adventures.

Same for the music, which is definitely not my thing but, again, subjective. I'm glad so many people like it, I find it boring and uninspired, definitely not something I'd like to hear in my day-to-day life, and I'm happy they included a slider to let us lower or even turn it off entirely.
