I found a solution that worked for me. It seems I had an old version of Galaxy installed on my PC. I upgraded it to the current version and now Victor Vran loads properly from Windows (without using Galaxy).

I'm reinstalling the game. My Galaxy version is 1.1.5 (beta). Which version do you have?

Ugh :(

It still says: victor vran has stopped working.

. Also, game was updated today which fixed [url=https://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_what_did_just_update_thread/post11644]another(?) launch crash.

Sorry. Not near my computer so can't check. I just opened galaxy, it updated itself, and I closed it, without even logging in.

Yeah so I've uninstalled galaxy from ProgramData and installed a fresh galaxy with the same version it appears: 1.1.5 (beta).
