I don't see one on GOG or in the download folders. Is there a manual anywhere? I like to read them before I start games.

There is an ingame Codex which updates your info about the world, weapons, attacks, skills and enemies when you encounter them for the first time. No other manual for the moment is present.

Thanks for the reply. That is unfortunate. I rely on manuals to give me the basics of a game so I don't go in not understanding the systems at work, and this game in particular has a lot going on -- demon powers, destiny cards, the way weapons work, transmutation, etc.

Fortunately I found a YouTube video that went over the basics, so that helped before I started. Otherwise, I think I would have been pretty confused, even with the Codex (which is very helpful, now that I know how the game works).
