Hey everybody,

As an avid player of roguelikes, I am seriously interested in acquiring Virtual Drop Heroes HD in order to play with a friend of mine.

The thing is that info on the game's multiplayer system seems to be lacking anywhere around.

So I'd like to know whether the only possible way of "multiplaying" it is through some kind of VPN software, such as Hamachi, Tunngle and so forth. If that is the case, could I also be informed on which softwares have been tested and work, so far?

An answer to this one would be much appreciated.

Best regards and cheers!

I am playing with my friend using Tunngle, works fine but there is a few bugs... Like need to rehost after every run. Works without any lags though (we have good connections)

Oh, that is great, thanks for your reply :) do you know if there's any other VPN software (other than Tunngle, that is) that works?

Cheers!
Honestly, I'm not a fan of Hamachi. I prefer Tunngle for the ease of use and not screwing up my computer network settings. I think basically any VPN software that fools your pc to think outbound connection is on LAN would work.
I can confirm that you can use a VPN software to play through LAN. If you are familiar with port forwarding, that works too, using port 12345.

Alright guys, thanks a lot!

Soon enough I shall be acquiring this one! :)
If you have static IP address, you can use that instead of setting up a VPN.
