This game constantly crashes! First 'Boss' fight and as soon as any progress is made, the game crashes to desktop. Any bug fixes planned? Game set up as "compatibility = win xp sp3" but still causes problems. Graphics reduced to medium. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It crashed for me during the bossfight as well, but the second time I tried it the game didn't crash. I read on some websites that it's just a case of (bad) luck, just have to keep trying. Another person had to try it four times.

Crashes for me every 20 min. I think I will have to give up trying to play this game.

I went to that link you posted, just for information, and it seems it is a fix with some systems. Thanks for the link for others to find.

Without compatibility option for windows XP SP3 and before the 4GB patch the game crashed after moment after windmill cutscene showing the place. After the 4GB patch the game first crashed during this windmill cutscene, on the second run crashed after cutscene when hitting ESC. With 4GB patch and compatibility setting there was no crash.

The area just outside Windmill Tavern ( on the road from mountain pass to the bridge ) seems to be the only one problematic in game, where it crashes regularly.

I faced only two crashes in other parts of the game. And they were not reproduced again.

I played Venetica with LAA fix, texture mod and no compatibility options on Win 7 x64.

I can confirm this, I faced no crashes prior to reaching the windmill and played smoothly for a couple of hours. However immediately after reaching it, I suffered two consecutive crashes within minutes of each other.
