Since Venetica couldn't find my installed PhysX driver and would not start, I just copied the 'common' physx dll in Venetica\bin\release.
Works like a charm so far.
(from the Nvidia driver package: PhysX-9.17.0524-SystemSoftware.exe\PhysX\files\Common\)
