I haven't found any way to heal the character in this game, other than by chancing upon a repair kit dropped by an enemy, or by leveling up. The game has no manual AFAIK [!?]. The key mapping options menu doesn't list a hotkey to rest, or recover in times where it is (reasonably) safe to attempt. So how else does one heal in this game?

Edit: Aha... I just discovered the Regenerator module. That would seem to be a non-choice—in the sense that it would be a must-have option to take. I guess that I should rephrase my question rather to ask is there no option to rest in the game?

Hey, Gizmojunk!

Apart from the few healing modules that you can unlock on your rig, repair kits, and the one gadget, there is no resting or healing mechanic in the game. There were discussions about this on our Steam forums: https://steamcommunity.com/app/629690/discussions/search/?q=heal&gidforum=1473096694443124849&include_deleted=1.
