styggron: Also I found it interesting on the dev walkthrough they say they have not put in any artificial blocks but I have found lots and lots.
First thing I tried was go down to the water and see if I can go into the water....nope. So there is a block. I wanted to walk on the water line, rocks were flat, should easily be able to walk on them but nope...another block....
Windows I can't climb out of despite them being at ground level etc...
You should always take such promises with a pinch of salt. An open world tends to be a popular ambition among developers, but is very often restrained as soon as the gameplay gets in the way. This game just doesn’t make sense as an open-world concept, for one because it’s heavily if not exclusively story-driven (only a main plot), for another because exploration is not rewarding or even useful. There are no side plots or quests, no rewards, no characters you can interact with. Without restraints, the game would appear a lot emptier than it already is.
Four to five hours would be accurate if you’re familiar with this genre.
