I too would appreciate Vive support for ethan carter here on gog.
I'm adding a "me too" since it was indicated that demand would be taken into account.

I've done a small amount of work with OpenVR - seems to me there wouldn't be any particular trouble to make this work. As long as the user has Steam installed (and in the case of Oculus, has enabled external applications support) it should be fine.
So?.... we only get silence. Any dev could bring us some info about this?
It's Silence, Silence Everywhere.

What I found interesting in changelog of the REDUX ver. is that ver was a VR mode (supported ? dunno how to tell it correctly) before patch 1.01.

But with the patch 1.01 we got.

Patch Redux Edition 1.01 (17.09.2015)

Scale resolution 150% added, great cost/effect ratio
Proper mouse behavior in menus (no extra click needed)
Fixed re-assigning keys to arrow keys
Perma-config, no longer requires the load of a savegame
Water Reflections can now be turned off
Smart Crosshair turns off in the outro
Fixed the fog flash after Start New Game
Proper display of graphics options on a fresh install
Language now remembered 100% of the time
Smaller visual and code/script fixes
Disabled VR support

So my ninja skills tell me that the possibility of VR Ethan can happen on GoG, but it's up to dev to implement it.

Bought yesterday Alice VR. Yes, developers, VR is posible in GOG!

So, what's up with Vanishing?
Anything new about the VR addon? I just started playing the GOG version of The Solus Project in VR and it worked really well. I'd love to get my hands on TVoEC:VR
Any news on this?
I'm really interested in VR here too. The game is now on -80% sale here in GOG, but I'm holding back because I want to play it in VR.

For reference I got Subnautica in Epics store and it automatically detected the Oculus runtime and started in VR, so something similar should be possible here. OTOH, the two last posts here are from 2017 and 2018 so it probably wont happen... A shame really.
As Hellblade VR is on here as well, it really doesn´t sound like TheAstronauts would still have any reason to hold back Ethan VR anymore...
I'd like to buy this for VR.

Steam seems to have but not GOG.com?

Is there a reason for the lack of VR at GOG.com?
