JMayer70: There's always Cheat Engine, should at least be able to hack your Beeb credits with it. Thats an easy to see specific number. Armor and Energy may not be so easy, as you don't see any specific numeric values, just a little pie-chart like indicator.
PS/ I really can't understand these little Napoleons who demand no-one can use cheats ever..... you should see them troll and derail any threads about cheats on the Steam forums..... the little despots make that jerkoff running North Korea seem benign.
And the harder the game is (very much so for Vangers here) the more likely you seem to run into developers who are anti-cheat crazed Little 'Itlers and Stalins!
PS/ These minature Robert Mugabe's can easy stop Cheat Engine though..... eg make the game crash if any other apps try to direct memory edit any of the games values (Rockstar Games I'm talking to YOU - wannabee fascists ;-) ....) or simply by making a game disable ALT-TABing - can't use Cheat Engine so easily then!
PPS/ And if any of you Anti-cheat Fidel Castro clones are offended by the above. TUFF!
People overprojecting into their game, feelings of superiority for having put out the greatest thing since sliced bread, you name it.
It's the only reason I see for excluding chats from games nowadays (bar cheats turned into DLC).
It's kinda the same when cheats are only unlocked when you're so good at the game they become needless.
See Rare games on the N64, while you could input button combinations in Goldeneye, a single level was still (IIRC) locked behind a hard code challenge (speedrunning the first secret level on max difficulty or something).
Perfect Dark is the same, you first need to be able to 1-life 100% speedrun the game on hardest before you can enjoy the cheats, and by this point you're already sick of the game.
See also AvP Classic for another example of this.
I see the general idea : learn my game the hard way instead of cheating until you feel comfortable, because i think it's gonna be more rewarding.
But I disagree, because for some people abusing debug mode is a better way to figure out how the game clicks until they feel comfortable palying legit.
Then again I doubt KranK will see it our way sometime, I suppose modding the game will be faster.
