First of all
The reason why I won't make a Stats & Skills guide is because I feel like the game was intentionally made vague in this regard. Like we're supposed to figure it out on our own as effectively the only "exploration" the game provides. And I like that about it. Makes it more fun and interesting... though sometimes frustrating. >.>

Can't make an actual "Guide" 'til I buy the game on hella sale since I buy on GOG whenever I can.

Controls
Button | Result
Esc | Start
w / mousewheel up | left page
e / mousewheel down | right page
x / right-click | cancel / exit menu
c / left-click | action / select
mouse wheel | hold and drag to pan the screen

If lack a mouse wheel, can select a party member during pre-battle and then explore the map as if attempting to place them beyond the bounds provided.

One way to fast forward cutscenes is to rapidly alternate between the C & Enter keys.

In order to quit the game you need to click on any map location. Like a shop, or battle, or whatever. Quit will be in the list that comes up.

About EDIT #1: Due to a few issues I had I ended up removing the pause menu, and since games like FFT don't have one, I thought it'd not be a big deal. Turns out many people missed it. I'm sorry for that.

Bugs:
No indication of new items at the Ruins of San Luis shop.
After the battle at the Ruins of San Luis, I noticed a 70 Bleed Francisca in my inventory somehow that's marked as equiped even though no one has it. The ones the shop sells are 60 Bleed.

GOG Edit:
1) Attempting to post with an image attached had me stuck watching it process forever during all three attempts.
2) GOG doesn't like emojis apparently since the space just before the dark-skinned man shrugging emoji is where the entire post got stopped. Had to re-paste the rest of the post and remove the emoji for it all to stick.
3) Looks like attaching an image during an edit works. meh
