So, I am on my first playthrough on normal. My character is a Protector. I am completely stuck on the second of the final bosses in the Void Cathedral (the Faceless Tsar bosses, of which here are purportedly 3). Took me about an hour to take down the first dragon who has an obelisk in the middle of his platform. The second one, who summons totems and the undead to feed him HP has me flummoxed.

I went to some sites to see what strategy people are using, and I see them speak of taking him down in minutes. I do more searching and then see skills for Protectors that I know nothing of. I see, in particular, this mention of "Flowing Combo." My Protector a\has no "Flowing Combo." I see people speak of a Mystic Warrior Build. What is that? Are these old terms from prior to Final Cut? Are they opened up using some combo of abilities I am missing? Are they fan speak?

Any help would be appreciated. I feel as though I marched right through all the rest of the content rather easily on normal, and now I am fully nonplussed at the bitter end to the point of just ditching it.

I'll confess to being fairly inexperienced in the ARPG genre, as I have always stuck to the Baldur's Gates, NWN, and Might and Magic franchises. I did play through the Diablo 3 campaign, but it was indeed ridiculously easy, as has been reported. Since I play these for the exploration and story, I didn't go any further and build up my toon and play on silly hard levels. I also played through the torchlight campaign on normal rather effortlessly, but I suppose these are all the starting points with most of these games.

I just want to get these final bosses down, and worry I have crippled my toon because I don;t really understand the mechanics of the game at all.

Thanks in Advance,

Pax
