mothwentbad: We're used to getting things late. The difference this time is that the bundle deal made it really attractive to get VH1-3 early with the understanding that we had actually bought Final Cut 50% off in the process. If it weren't for the bundle, we could've just waited for the launch whenever they felt like it, and paid 50% off at launch without this dead period where we paid $20-$25 for an October release and got nothing (not even communication) with November mostly over. It's nice having the trilogy, but they dug a hole for themselves trying to do too much and since then, they've dishonored themselves with silence.
I'm not raging or anything. I have a life and stuff to do and all that. But it's kind of disappointing, and the non-communication and inability to own their blunders are troubling and unhealthy signs for a developer I otherwise want to like.
I emailed support at GOG about the release and this is the response I got.
"Hello
I'm afraid that I can't comment on any upcoming deals and releases (or lack thereof). I can only assure you that we're doing everything possible to get our hands on the best content possible.
Unfortunately the process can be very complicated. There are many variables to take into account when trying to secure distribution rights from a publisher or developer, and it's not always possible to come to a compromise that satisfies all . This is especially true for GOG, as we want to uphold our core values (like no copy protection, or fair pricing), which do not always fit well into how the industry generally works. It gets even more complex with old content, esepecially games, whose rights are often in a state of “legal limbo”.
Check out this Q/A video, featuring one of my superiors - Marcin Iwinski, for a first-hand view of how it works:

So GOG doesn't want to give any actual information, and Neocore is dragging it's feet as well.
