Restored patrols in Blood Hunt map and swapped some weapons there.
Fixed patrol cop missing from Chinatown Hub after the Kiki scene.
Improved reflections in Kanker's lair big hall, thanks to Norrwin.
Removed Giovanni party sounds if you alerted the mansion outside.
Corrected texture issues at Gimble's, Tattoo shop and Ocean House.
Fixed Dane sprites, Society map hole and Pisha's victim reaction.

- Vampire hunter is a great idea, but obviously no fun at the moment. Just endless fighting. No loot, no xp, no interaction. I cant even buy additional ammunition because I just have no money. Also of course I already know these levels. Great voice actors already though (in the initial level). And its very fun to play one of these cute redheads you usually only kill in the game. I hope we'll see this expanded to something more fun in later patches.

- After 18 years[1] I'm still annoyed that Knox in his first dialogue JUST told me that he is NOT a vampire and yet like a total dumbass I still have to ask him if he's a vampire in order to progress the conversation.

- I also dont get why a quest that was already very well hidden is now hidden only even much better. Unless you absolutely know you have to ask Trip for his name in order to get the "You're called trip. Are you doing drugs ?" line (or some such, recalling it from memory) later you truely wont find out now anymore.

Mind hidden quests that you actually have to find out that they even exist are great. First time I found out by sheer chance alone that Beckett had learned to teach me new disciplines was so awesome, lol.

[1]: Yes I own the original release, I bought the GoG version just because I thought my original CDs would be kaputt. It turned out it was just the good old memory bug. I simply had just forgotten it existed. The GoG version is super convenient though since new computers dont even have a CD drive in the first place anyway.

I was pretty surprised when I recently learned only 70,000 units got sold of the original game. That made me feel like a sort of elite, lol. But I just never cared for action games.

Well I downloaded my GoG version one or two years ago. But in principle this could be just a false alarm.

You should get XP for each finished mission and find some loot that you can sell. Still this was only an experiment to see if people are interested in hunters. For a better experience play the "Prelude I" mod!

I don't understand what you mean, he only tells you that he is not a vampire after you asked that question.

You can ask him multiple times and I am not aware that it has become more hidden. What do you mean?

Well the conversation goes like this:

Knox: Hey. How's it goin', girl ?

Protagonist: Do I know you ?

Knox: Aw man ! Wait. Say that again.

Protagonist: Maybe you could hear me if you pulled your head out of your ass.

Knox: There ! You - oh man ! - you're a vampire, aren't you ?

Protagonist: Look - I dont know what you think you know, but I'd recomment you forget it.

Knox: Hey, I work for a vampire! I don't know how much I should tell you but - oh man, damn ! - it would be so awesome to talk to somebody else "on the inside", know what I mean ? Hehe, oh man !

Protagonist: Yeah, I might just know what you mean.

Knox: Hell yeah ! Oh man, I knew it ! I just - Oh geez, I knew you were. I just could tell. I - oh man, this is great ! And th-then I saw your teeth an-and I was, like, damn ! It was like I could just sense you. The name's Knox Harrington. Pleasure to meet you. Aw man !

He just told me he WORKS for a vampire, clearly implying that he himself is NOT a vampire, and yet I have to ask him if he's one - to keep the conversation going.

Also I might need to check but in the old versions you could only ask Trip for his name the first time you talk to him, and then you had to immediately ask if he likes drugs. Otherwise you would miss the quest.

P.s.: I checked I now can get to that dialogue even if I havent asked him for his name the first time. Awesome ! Though maybe that possibility was always there and I just wasnt aware / didnt experiment enough ?

I don't see why he couldn't be a vampire himself working for another one. Also the player is rather innocent himself at the time, pretending not to be one himself...

Something I don't understand. You believe exploits should be allowed in basic? That seems to be a reversal of your previous position. Could you please explain?

This is exactly how it is in 11.4, the readme is a little bit confusing as the exploits are mentioned twice. One could also argue that this is an inventory bug though...

As i wrote, it's not exactly clear if this is a bug. So I decided to remove it in the plus patch, which for me it the definite edition of the game, and allow it in the basic patch so all exploiters stop complaining that I removed it ;)!
