Hi, i just installed the patch into my gog folder but whenever i try to launch the game, i get "Failed to load launcher DLL Das angegebene Modul wurde nicht gefunden" (second part is german, translated "the module was not found"). This happens no matter which launcher i use, the one created by the 10.0 or the one by gog or the executable vampire.exe directly...

Try copying all dll files from the bin folder into the main folder...

Hello I just bought this game. Is it recommended to immediately add this newest patch(version 10). I understand that the GOG vanilla version already has community patch included so it is playable already.

It is nice that you are still working on improving the game after all this time but is it advisable for a beginner to immediately add this latest patch or start with the vanilla GOG version first?

That depends on whether you plan to play the game only once or several times. In case of the former I would say go for the full plus patch with all the restored content. In case of the latter start close to the original with the GOG version and then update to plus for a second playthrough...

Thanks. I might not have the time to go for a second playthrough because of my backlog so I will consider your recommendation and possibly add the full plus patch when I am ready to start the game.

No, for the full experience download the UP 10.0RC3 from The Patches Scrolls, select plus duing installation but not the suboptions which revert some things, and then go for it!

Hi wesp5, the patch from The Patches Scrolls contained a virus, I cannot install the file. Is there any other safer site where I can get the patch.
