So, you want your vampire to have something special that others don't? Right on!
1) Tremere:
a) Unique Haven: You can get inside the chantry, if your are respectful and servile to Maximilian, Downtown.
b) Unique Discipline: Thaumaturgy. Like your typical magic and spells, but with blood powers. Very strong, unique to the clan, deals overpowered damage, is imbalanced and has a dedicated artifact that boosts it even further, in haven.
2) Nosferatu:
a) Unique Haven: You get a part of the SEWERS (bleargh)! But this is home, right?
b) Unique gameplay and roleplay approach: You have to hide yourself, be sneaky and roleplay an ugly miscreant with lots and lots of skills.
3) Malkavian:
a) Unique Discipline: Dementation! Very funny to use, it even offers new dialogue likes and quest solving options!
b) Unique gameplay and roleplay approach: You are a mad prophet, divining things out and freaking others out, talking wisdom and bullshit wrapped together in each and every word, your speech is insane and dialogue always fresh. One of the most fun choices to run through the game.
4) Gangrel:
a) Unique Discipline: Protean. Not a good idea to pump it up early on, instead invest in melee for the most part of early areas. Claw attacks are slow and fast enemies will wipe the floor with your ass (like the asian vampire in foxy boxes and the Tzimisce in sabbat warehouse). Fully upgraded though, it is bad-ass. Too bad Beckett at warehouse no longer raises the stat for you (i think in 1.0 he did, unless this dialogue line had always been completely useless, lol)!
