I have installed, run as admin, updated with patch, and no matter what, the monsters and items in the game will not reload when the game is loaded. It doesn't matter if I start from a save, or new game, I cannot get the game to reset the information. I am running Win7 with more than enough specs to crush this game at the highest settings. Do I really need to install in a directory outside program files? How would that make a difference?

That's weird. Try to apply XP SP3 compatibility to the shortcut as well to see if it changes anything.

You can try reinstalling outside Program Files although i'm not sure if it will make any difference since you're already running it as Admin.

Turns out that checking run as Win XP SP2 was needed. Thanks for the help!
