right now the gog version comes with 10.2 pre installed

i want to unlock the restored content too

does the gog version allow this ?

or do i have to manually install the patch ... if i do so is there a catch like detele a certain folder first

To get the restored contnt you have to download Wesp's patch and install with the plus option.
You can get it at ModDB or Nexus. I'm not sure if PatchesScrolls has the most recent version.
You don't have to remove anything. Just install the new patch and it will ovewrite the current version. If you want to keep the base patch so you can play one or the other, rename the /unofficial_patch folder to /base_patch and make the same change in the properties of the shortcut for the gog version before installing the patch.
In any case, it is important to disable autoupdate!
