When going through the Society of Leopold it seems that Christof has taken in some bad blood. It's impossible to find a cure, and I have prowled the web for an answer, but am unable to find one. Has anyone been across this?
I found this in Wiki:
"London: Chances are, when Christof first drinks from a Plasma Bag, he will get Diseased. None of the shops sell Vaccines or scrolls to banish Disease, so make sure you save a couple of those Vaccines from the Society of Leopold. Blood Healing cannot cure Disease or Poison, so Christof will be taking damage for the rest of the game unless you can give him a Vaccine."
I have found no Vaccines at the Society - I have even in my desperation tried "addthing" in the console , but there is no template for Disease Vaccine in any form. And why is there a code to make yourself diseased, but no code to cure yourself ???
In hope of a reply carrying a solution to this...

Hi,
Can't you use the console to go to Unorna's shop or something like that to buy a Disease Vaccine and than use the console again to get back to where you are now ?
You can find a list with the location's names to use with the jump command here.
Oh, and it's probably best to backup your saves before starting to mess around with the console.
Good Luck!

Alternately, you could suck it up until you put enough points in Blood Healing to cure your own disease.
Yeah, you should get over it eventually. It's been a while since I've honestly played SP but I thought the disease cure only worked on humans. Keep sucking on civilians and using blood heal until it goes away
. If for some reason there is a glitch that it won't go away, you can try a creative solution, like the "diseaseme" console command. The number after the command dictates how many seconds the disease lasts. For example, "diseaseme 1" would last 1 second. Aftet the second is up, it may cancel out your disease. Turning god mode on then off again may also work.
I'm probably wrong about the cure only working on humans but nevertheless, I hope you find a solution!
@ Namur...
Trying to jump to Unorna's shop was the second thing I tried, when addthing didn't work. For some reason I can only jump in London (east/west), but it won't let me jump to Unorna, Convent or any other location on the list.
@Prator
That's a lot of sucking up (nice pun there) - How much do you need in heal self for that; 5 ?? That's a lot of XP that could be better used elsewhere, but it might be a way...
@Signothorn
Believe me - it's has been going on for several hours playing - Doesn't go away no matter how much I heal (Lv3).
I tried diseaseme (still haven't found the logic in why anyone would make a code that will make you diseased, but not one to cure you), but that only lets me get a second "diseasemarker" - doesn't work on the other one.
Haven't tried God-Mode though - Might be worth a shot...
Thanks for the inputs - Will give it a go and se what gives :)

IIRC, you gain the ability to cure poisons at rank 3 and disease at rank 4. Really, though, you SHOULD max out this skill. Once you get to New York, and start running into enemies wielding heavy weapons and some very nasty tzimisce creatures that literally bite your head off, you'll be thankful for the ability to restore as much HP per casting as possible.

Another way to resolve this is if someone could upload one of their saved games for you. Your stats would be off but at least you could progress if you don't have a recent savegame. You may also be able to edit your save in notepad if you can make any sense of it, your character's health data may be saved there.
Thanks again - I think I'll try the heal self first...
But where to rest and spend XP in London ?
Ok - Had to cheat a little *sigh* in order to solve it.
I used to console to call forth the advancement screen, and the used it again to give Christof just enough XP to raise his level in Heal Self. As it turned out, I had to raise it to lv. 5 in order to get rid of the disease :-( Tried to see if there was any way to remove the dots again, but there doesn't seem to be - If any of you know of one, I'd be glad to know of it - Bothers me to have to circumvent the game like this.
But problem solved - Thanks for speedy assistance all :-)

I don't know of a way to take away xp after you've spent it. Weird that you had to advance to healing lvl 5 in order to rid yourself of it. It may have resolved the issue but I'm not certain that was the cause. Another possible solution if it happens again would be to "bite the snake that bit you" and drink another toxic blood pack so that it resets the timer. There are a lot of weird solutions to Redemption, if you know how the game and engine works. My knowledge about MP in Redemption is more fresh because I use it for making movies.

Let the character die then ressurect them. Always check unidentified blood if you can, lol.
i dont know the specific cause either but this did happen to me years ago when i played the game new. i ended up reloading a very old save. guess i will just max out blood healing this play through.
For anyone still playing this in 2018, I managed to fix this problem by letting diseased party member die and reviving with Scroll of Awaken. Disease gone.
I just ran into this issue today during using a plasma bag in the society as well. The disease never went away, even keep showing Christof being injured in cutscenes lol.

Anyway, thankfully I went to the club and Pink joined me, so I let Christof die of the disease and have Pink use the Awaken scroll on Christof, and once Christof revived, he was no longer diseased.
Had the same issue today in Society of Leopold.

Got infected drinking a bag, then I later drank another bag and got 2 stacks of disease. The annoying thing is the SFX carries in the cutscene and I was recording the game.
I went to the club to talk to Pink but I died during the dialogue cutscene (hilarious bug btw). Then he was in my group but he doesn't have the Awaken discipline so I guess I would have to buy a scroll. My Blood Healing is 4/5 and doesn't sure it.

I don't even have a save without the disease so this sucks.
