This has likely been a bug for a fair number of versions now, but for some reason I only noticed it on this run.

On Arthur's Krime-puter, I recall being able to look up Mike Durbin; however, this is no longer the case! Durbin doesn't appear on any of the menus; however, entering "Durbin, M" on the "A-F" menu still brings up Durbin's data.

Checking the unofficial_patch/vdata/hackterminals/krime_computer.txt file, it looks fine - so I suspect there's a 5 line limit for computers to what they display (despite the docs mentioning it's 6 lines).

I managed to fix this (sort of) by simply commenting out one of the previous entries in the A-F section (I chose Bremerkamp, M" but any of the others will do, provided its not Durbin's (obviously) or Crumb's (because it's required for something else).

So, not sure how long this has been an issue - one would think that if it's related to char/line limits in the terminals, that it would have always been an issue, but I definitely recall this working when I played it many patches ago.

This was caused because I restored some unused text thus adding an additional line. I fixed it another way now!

Sweet - good to hear!

And just when you thought there was nothing more to fix (that's fixable) in this game... ;)

Indeed! And while fixing this (I moved the restored email to Dennis now), I noticed that all email descriptions of subfolders are not displayed. Most of the time it makes no difference, but I found ten computers where it does, like you would never be able to know that Durbin is called "Muddy" in the first place. Nobody discovered this in all the time!
You probably have heard this plenty of times Wesp, but thank you for continuing your contributions to this most excellent of games :)

Interesting - I did notice that the txt files had descriptions, but I thought those were never displayed anywhere. I assume the Elizabeth Dane computer (I'm not at the Dane yet in my current game) doesn't display the descriptions? Because one of the log entries doesn't match the description (I think one entry is the 19th, but the description says 17th) - which I didn't mention because I figured that descriptions are never actually displayed...

D
Doesn't that come out on the answering machine vocal?

Exactly, and most of the time this doesn't matter because they are similar to the name or the runtext. But in a few cases some info is only mentioned there too, so in those cases I moved it into the runtext. BTW, Arthur calls Durbin "Muddy", but it is not mentioned in the answering machine...

Ahh, OK. I knew I heard it rather then read it.
