This game would be great with a gamepad. I have been trying to create a profile for XPadder but the problem is that I want to use the keyboard to move instead of clicking the mouse. Does anyone know if thats possible? A mod perhaps? could I create a Mod myself?

I dont think you can do that, I cant even map a key on my g5 mouse.
