So older unoffical patchs had character background when you created a new vamp. The game says it is updated to latest patch but when I make a new veinsucker ther isnt a character background option. Was it removed?

This is only a feature of the plus patch so you need to select it during installation.

I did install the game and then the patch and the patch says that it is already installed. But still no backgrounds?

Okay now I see. you have to download that patch from another site other than GOG. They really should make it clearer.
