I'd like to know if there are any mods that continue the game and that aren't insanely hard to play? Also, are there any similarly vampire themed games like bloodlines?
I don't know of one that continues the game, but there is a mod that allows you to play as a member of one of the Sabbat clans. It has a few different quests, clan disciplines, and I believe a timer drops our blood pool every so often, making to where you have to feed. It's called Final Nights. Camarilla Edition is from the same group, but it uses the same clans as the base game, with some of the modifications they do with Final Nights.

Two other big mods are the Clan Quest Mod and the Antitribu Mod. The first is very polished and adds a lot of new quests to the game, the second is still rather buggy but changes all the clans similar to The Final Nights.

Are these mods difficult to install? I wish someone would make another Masquerade game that is played like Bloodlines but it doesn't look like something that is going to happen.

No, they all go into seperate subfolders like the Unofficial Patch and can be run in parrallel.

There is a Bloodlines Prelude mod in the works which is kind of a prequel to the original game :).

For which? Redemption or Bloodlines?

I just re-read your reply and I saw it said Bloodlines. Getting blind in my old age.:)

I always put the UP in the c:/gog games/ folder.....would the other mods go there, too?

wesp5: Yes.
I would gather they work basically like the UP in that they would have their own shortcut to start the game, correct?

Yes.
Playing as Kaine in Blood Omen series, or the final title of the franchise, is really something.

Bloodrayne series can work, too.

Not exactly a vampire game, but Castlevania Symphony of the Night, is a legend, always in top X all time classic charts, ever since 1997. You play as a dhampir (half human half vampire) and he gains vampire powers throughout the adventure (wolf form, mist form, bat form, spells, etc).

Also, in PS, there was that Vampire Hunter D game, forever forgotten, even though it was actually good.
I Just finished the game with the Anarch ending. It took me 38 hours and i didn't finish some quests like the zombies in the cemetary mission which was complete bullshit.

In plus patch, it is easier. In normal version, you get fetch Romero a prostitute, instead!

I'll check out Bloodrayne and Castlrvania but I don't have a PS.

You don't need to own a PS. Even if it is taboo, i will utter the forbidden, magic word (that every old gamer sings, when nobody can hear)...

EMULATORS!
