If you have Win10, there's only one actual patch and it is included in the GoG version. All of the major bugs have been gone for years.

On the other hand, if you want to see a bunch of restored content and general story fixes, then look into the plus version.

On the third hand, the major bug that you should not play too long sessions is still present.
