I've managed it after resolving things in Jeanette's favour, but I usually prefer to resolve the issue abicably (i.e. satisfying both sisters).

If you get down with Jeanette, does it lock you in to helping her or can you still resolve the issues with her sister differently even after having had fun with Jeanette?

Yes, but it's probably one of the more difficult things to achieve, since it doesn't just come down to that final conversation with the both of them - it's also dependent on how you talked to each of them separately before that.

I somehow managed it on my first game due to how my character happened to approach situations. I didn't realise how involved it was until I checked out a walkthrough afterwards.

Without the plus patch, this means you can't get any action from Jeanette though. With the plus patch, you can still get action from her before the final showdown between the sisters - but I'm not sure if this factors in to whether you can keep both alive or not later.

I'm using the unofficial patch and got action from Jeanette a good while after the sister had been elimated and I just popped back in to see her. Was a bit disappointed the screen went black though...

GODOFJELL0: I rememeber my first play through you could spend the night with jeanette before the gallery mission, but I take it that option was removed durring one of the patchs from the refrance of the boink relay?

wesp5: No, this was actually an added feature of the plus patch and the GOG version only includes the basic one. You need to download the full patch from The Patches Scrolls and start a new game to get it!
I never installed anything other than the GOG version of Bloodlines, yet I still spent the night with Jeanette. However, it happened after the Gallery mission.

Are you two talking about a different event, or is it the same event, but just at a different point in the game?

In the version in my game the screen went black during that event. Is that supposed to happen? I wasn't sure if the game had been censored.

This is correct, if you get Jeanette to survive you can spend the night with her.
