IIRC, the GOG version comes with the 10.2 Unofficial Patch basic version applied. This fixes bugs, errors, glitches, adds widescreen support, etc.

The Plus version restores and completes unfinished content among other changes.

The Unofficial Patch is up to version 10.3 Release Candidate 2, so you can download that one and choose if you want Basic or Plus.
