I love this game but I can only play the first 20 minutes
in the tutorial area after you need to lockpick for the first time
I can talk with this guy until he saaays 'keep our secrets secret...'
my only possible reply is 'what do you mean, what could happen'
but as soon as I press this the game crashes, closes and I'm back at desktop
it's my first playthrough so I have no idea what should happen after this sentence,, maybe a cutscene that bugs? don't know. any time I reload and get back it crashes at exactly the same moment

What clan are you playing and have you listened to game sound files with a media player?

I started out with toreador and I didn't listen to any game sounds with a media player

Try restarting the game, there is nothing there except normal dialogue...

I tried it a couple o times yesterday and today and it crashes always at exactly the same spot exactly there in the conversation, as soon as I take option 1 (it's the only option) the game freezes for a second and then it closes down completely, leaving me back at desktop.
I will try if it works better when I reroll completely, if not I'll try another clan and see if I have similar crashes at different spots

after rerolling it seems to be fine, I changed only gender but most stayed the same and had no more issues and got past he conversation. I keep this thread open just a while longer in case similar errors start to occur
