I would like to ask if the cheat console is able to work (be enabled) in the GOG version? I don't own either the GOG or the Steam version, but the original retail box. I wish to purchase the GOG set, so am curious about these effects.

The console is available in the GOG version because GOG uses the unofficial patch and that comes with console activated.
