Bloodlines will not start on my machine. Here is the dxdiag.txt:

I have tried various compatibility modes, reinstalling, running as admin - none of which have worked.

The .exe runs, my monitors flash as if resolution is being adjusted, the startup sounds run (Troika, others) but the window never shows and view returns to desktop; focus is never given to the vampire.exe window. The main menu is never displayed, and there is no music/sound after the intro/publisher sequences.

Any ideas?

This has been fixed.

I have a Realtek HD sound driver installed, and was using the enhanced DTS UltraPC II settings. Turning this off allowed the game to start up.

Glad you got it sorted. It's such a cool game. Is this your first time playing it?
