I play with the basic unofficial patch. I have a very high persuasion feat (6, to be precise), but I cannot convince Therese and Jeanette to coexist. Unlike in vanilla, where i could with lower persuasion rank to do that.

What is wrong with patch? I have the default gog version of it, BASIC, NOT plus... What changed with Therese and Jeanette from it exactly? And how can i have the "Tourette" result with its larger experience reward, too?
You must have spoken nice to both before. I _think_ it was around 4-6 times each. Like agreejng with them on dialogues. If you have been for example all bitchy to Therese in all conversations you won't be able to convince her.
Pretty sure that was the same in the vanilla game.
If you are already past *SPOILER* the diner and can't speack any more to them, you can fix it via console...
But I sadly forgot the commands. But I once googled that and found them somewhere. :)
Good look!

Edit:
Seems it was less...
Just searched for it and found this:
G.Therese_Seduce and G.Jeanette_Seduce have to be above or equal to four.
I think you can just type that in the console...
Like G.Therese_Seduce = x
And just "G.Therese_Seduce" for the current value if you want to check what you were lacking. :>

Thanks for the advice. But i think in the original 1.2 persuasion mattered, not seduction... Seduction was for having sex with Jeanette and for the Jeanette personality winning. I always am nice to both. I keep the pendant for Therese but without offending Jeanette, either. I slash the paintings but not steal money. In the original some high persuasion did it at gun scene, it gave you a blue line. Now with 9.5, i no longer have it that way. Also, if i choose Jeanette, she disappears, when i return she is no longer there... Strange.

It's not really seduction as in pink text iirc. I think it's just the way the variables are named.
What I meant was stuff like:
Therese: Bring me the Ocean House ghost thingy.
Player: With pleasure.
Therese +1
But if you were always responding like:
"I only do it to get to Tung." She won't be as pleased.
It's more like a ... uhm friendship level?^^
If a sister was pleased with you it rose.
At least that's what I remember it to be. I'm not 100% sure though and had to look into the dialogue files to be sure.
You still need the persuation at the gun scene though.
I replayed the game recently and did persuade the sisters, but my persuasion was 7 rather than 6. I know 6 is supposed to be high enough, but I tried with a persuasion rank of 6 and failed.

I noted how I answered the questions, so let me know if this would be of any help to you.

This must be the case, then. In previous versions patchnotes (i always read about wesp's wonderful job even if i never played it before), it says clearly certain in-game deeds had the stats required for the feat to succeed changed, like early computers having a lower hacking requirement... Damn, this means unless i cheat (if you enable histories and do the vanilla 1.0 trick in character creation, you can end up with an almost fully maxed character from beginning), i cannot persuade them, since this time i chose a nosferatu and a gangrel (not the most social and skilled in conversation, unless you invest in those lots of XP), a.k.a. the ugly and the loner... Damn... Well, this does it. Back to the Vanilla again. Legacy version it is. Besides, i also didn't like that a certain type of pills now have 0 value and no vendor buys it. It sold well, if i remember well, lol...

The game really runs crappy with just the 1.2 patch - I highly recommend using either the unofficial patch you've already used or the purist patch (True patch Gold). The TPG takes a more hard line approach to changes in the game so, that may be the way to go but, while it can be done, using vanilla version is a pain in the butt.

Seriously, i would be tempted to use the patch you recommend, but the GOG installation is not vanilla and as per a conversation i read before, it is not certain whether installing it will function as intended.

I had always played 1.2 in my boxed retail version, before i got the GOG one here... My one and ONLY problem (besides mercurio being called a sabbat thug and pedestrians randomly disappearing), is the downtown haven that can become a game ender (random items like furniture spawning inside and preventing your movement, even making you stuck for good).

Always been vanilla player; i know it, i trust it, i love it with ALL its flaws!

As has been explained here, Persuasion is not the key but your behaviour to them before. Which really was a bug fix as there were variables set to measure it but then never correctly used in the end.

Besides, i also didn't like that a certain type of pills now have 0 value and no vendor buys it.
Ah, an oversight of mine. They are a quest item in the plus patch and mustn't be sold, but I accidentally changed it in basic too. I will fix that right now :)!

Thanks a lot for the reply! Also, much love and support for your work! I really liked it, i am simply trying to get the hang of it, sorry to be a bother! Will try again with more pleasurable conversation directed at them again!

Since you offered to, would you please be so kind as to note them down? Thanks in advance

Sure. Can you tell me how to spoiler it tho' - I am rubbish at spoilering and have failed miserably in the past! :D

Something which occurred to me after reading Wesp5's post.

I wonder if you don't treat the twins as 'nicely' as you can do with how you answer them, you need to increase your persuasion ability exponentially, in order to balance what options your character is given during the 'getting them to work together' conversation?

Just a thought.....

No need to apologise KiNgBrAdLeY7 - glad you got the result you wanted :)

I am also having the same problem...

I have made all of the correct dialogue choices up untilt his point, speaking to each sister in the proper way to appeal to each of them. Persuasion 6, Seduction 3.

During the dialogue with Tourette, I don't get any special options whatsoever.
