Mort will be hosting AoR multiplayer Games every saturday night at 8pmEST starting tomorrow. Details in this thread: http://planet-vampire.net/forum/index.php?topic=6126.msg113573
Great!!!

The new config tool is really useful (and clear enough).
I played almost half of the game with the 2011 version, and it really enhanced the game to me (never passed Vienna first "level" originally, there were too many oddities in the gameplay). Now I'll definitely play until the end!

I guess older save games are not compatible (mine crash when loading), but considering the changes it's not surprising. Talking about changes, I haven't found any thorough list of them in the download (I looked at the E-Mods.net forum). I think it would be nice to have a complete list/changelog included with the pack, also to help first time players who may hesitate at what to choose. Or maybe I've missed something!

Time to get back into the game, anyway ^^ Thanks again!

I removed the change log because waaaaayyyy too much was changed to even keep track. You're just gonna have to discover what's been done on your own or ask questions. lol
All right, I'm fine with that! Let's discover then ^^

Is this or are there total conversion mods for this game or is it just with bloodlines? I'd like to know as ive always liked this game but would like to play a new total conversion or adventure in the same vein.

Thanks, and happy holidays!
Age of Redemption could be considered an overhaul rather than total conversion (kind of like OOO for Oblivion). It also changes a considerable amount of game play and includes full function coop. Other than that, it is currently the original (mostly) unaltered Redemption story with a little more added to the Modern Day aspect of the game.
You guys still playing online? I'd love to join.
Hey guys, I played bloodlines first when I was a kid (would love to see it at GOG) but recently Redemption was the second title a I bought from GOG, and I'm in Prague right now, so my question is, do you recommend me to finish the vanilla game first and then use this mod? or should I install the mod to have a more modern point of view from the game?.

Thanks in advance.
I'd always recommend vanilla first. That way, you'll spot the differences that AoR brings, which are actually quite profound from the start. If you choose to play AoR, you would need to start a new game. AoR uses it's own save folder because its environment is not compatible with the vanilla save games. Attempting to load vanilla save games into AoR will result in a crash.

Thank you for yor reply and recommendations, will do as you suggest.

+1 to you, have a good one.
I'll be playing the game for the first time, and as I've heard that AoR fixes some stuff (for example companions AI) I've decided to play the game using the mod (especially since I play it for the story, and I would be quite pissed if I encountered some game-breaking bug and had to start all over again).

However, according to the mod page, it makes the game more "brutal". Well, I am not a 'pro' RPG player, so I am wondering if it not will be too difficult.

Do you have any recomendations regarding the configuration of the mod?
The description is mostly accurate, but some things have change including the introduction of difficulty adjustments in the config app. You can turn the value down to 0 and see if it makes things easier for you. A 0 value removes a lot from the discipline tier of the AI and reduces the effective power of boss disciplines.
Gonna try this mod out, had to restart my game anyway because of the save-overwriting bug.

I like that you can turn off things you don't like. -cough- getting weaker in London -cough-
I'm sorry I this mod makes the game beyond brutal in my estimation.

Getting utterly obliterated by 4 Cappadocians and their wrath palls really put me off this mod.

In my latest attempt I used Difficulty -1 and near as I could tell it didn't make a lick of difference.
