purshased and installed the game but cannot start it on Mac. Not from library nor from galaxy.

I recommend writing a mail to their support support@funatics.de I don't think you will get help here very soon, the Devs aren't very active here (just in the Steam forum) and I don't have a Mac to help you.

Try to add more informations about the error and your system, that might help to track it down.

Thanks, that problem I overcame by updating my macbook (I was travelling at the time of purchase) which is ridiculous. I do not update ios for couple of months at least to avoid halting. but the devs building the game for next generation? The game works fine on windows laptop I have to play old games which will never be Mac compatible. I bought this to play on mac. My main mac is still having problems with the game anyway :( I am playing but my mouse in the game has it's one live...

There is a known bug in the Unreal engine which occurs when Border-Scrolling is active. We disabled this in the options in the latest patch (you can check it in the ingame options).
