Logitech F310 - worked fine for evoland right before trying to play Sword of the Stars: The Pit, and then VS:AC. Now I can't get any response in-game or in-menu, not even to reset the key bindings for the gamepad.

Any advice?

it appears it isn't working with Sword of the Stars: The Pit, either.

I read the recent patch for VS and it appears direct input was temporarily disabled due to a slowdown issue.

Is direct input meaning the gamepad? Perhaps there is a similar issue with SOTS but I'm not able to find anything regarding that.

I started up Evoland again and the gamepad works fine.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!
Oh jeez do I feel foolish. The F310 has a switch on the back for two types - D and X. It just needed to be switched to X : /

Valdis now supports both DirectInput and XInput game pads so you can just enable it at the Options menu :)

It says it does but not all game DirectInput and XInput game controllers seem to work. I tried two. One of them didn't work.

I'm talking about my Logitech Precision USB game pad.

Indeed. I was hopeful that they could support Logitech game pads, as they are quite common, but such is life. Back to using a keyboard/joystick remapper. :(
