Just played through the tutorial in the demo, definitely interested in the game. I had to attempt the fight with the Undead several times before succeeding. My characters seemed to miss with their attacks a lot! The difficulty might want adjusting down slightly as this fight was quite frustrating and came close to putting me off the game - not good for the demo!

I think I had to try 3 times before I beat it. It definitely forces you to learn more about the battle mechanics and strategy, but I agree not everyone will be motivated to do that in a demo like this.

Very interested in seeing the full game!

We are planning to implement diminishing returns on Evade and Block, also implement a few more combat traits that will get us to the final balance of that fight.

It is also worth mentioning that while it is common practice to use demos to 'lure players in', we have taken a different approach and decided to present players with the same difficulty they would find in the full game so they would make an informed decision about whether they wanted to purchase that. We think it is better to be upfront about the difficulty like that, even if that means fewer sales for us.
