At now we can only downgrade resolution to have more confort with text.
Let's hope for an option at release.

Hey,
happy to report that the current InDev build of Vagrus now includes the option to increase Font size in Events, the Codex, and tooltips. We are planning to roll it out for the Prologue as well in an upcoming patch.
Cheers,

Thanks, waiting to retry the demo.
The patch helps, but it's still unpleasant as I have to use the tooltip on all the screen to be able to read without ending to kill my remaining sight.

It's a weird thing to make a game with much readings and without thinking about all the fonts at first, without building the game arround this... as if all gamers had the same devs monitors and sight.

Did you try the "Windowed Mode" with some combinations of size and graphics quality?
I just made an test with an 800 x 480 window and found that it's uncomfortable tiny but otherwise readable.

On the other hand I remember that when I played the demo on a windows system, I found the text sometimes difficult to read, too. For the full gamed I switched to a Linux system and can't complain anymore, but that may (at least partly?) be due to the fact that I have a much newer display here, too.

Hey, sorry about that experience. This is our first game ever so we are liable to overlook stuff that should be otherwise obvious.
Could you describe in detail the setup and use-case so we can investigate? Which font size have you chosen? Which UI part is causing the discomfort?

Thanks, cheer, and Happy New Year!

Windows10, PPP 150%, monitor 21.5" (I like those great resolution while smaller monitors)

Ingame choosing the new font size is irrelevant, even it helps, for it does not increase other small fonts.
I had uninstalled the demo, so IIRC I was fed up reading uneasily all the stats in their windows.
I agree as customer I'm hard on UIs, in general for the games.

Let's you carouse the best.

At last bought the game. As I was expecting, I still must play in 1366x768, the patches coudn't change the core of the game.
Edit: And reading is still not very pleasant
