The topics I collected here aren't meant to be necessarily changed. It's more to let you (other gamers included) know where I stumbled or was confused, and where my fantasy starts running riot...
For example, to me it is strange to see only negative effects when checking the current factions tasks. And I was even more confused in the beginning when tasks hadn't been listed anymore at all (because, as I assume, they are linked to factions that does not have a dependence in that very settlement). I now know that I have to search them in the "Task List" of my logbook, but... it's a bit embarrassing. It's a lot of clicking around until I'm sure what's my own freight and what is stagecoach cargo, and that I did not accidentally skipped a run.
In the wilderness, I understand that I may or may not come across an shrine of Irafons. But from the image accompanying the tax collector events, I was assuming that the main roads are paved - and then I would expect the shrines of Irafons being quite stable, too, instead of showing up somewhere randomly.
After moving the Ratharnak Headquarter to the Mines of Plenty, might the Hungry Miner now be a suitable place for picking up rumours, too?
Reputation loss for skilled crafts and trading: why do factions grumble with me if I show my ability to transport goods safe and fast - with other peoples cargo? This would make sense only if I am assumed to have some kind of affiliation to those customers. If I am assumed to remain independent, every successful run should give me the renown of a vagrus who knows his trade.
I could understand some exceptions when it comes to legal vs. illegal, making Sergorodites always being a bit suspicious when I trade with the Carpenters or the Loaders. In the other direction, they may even appreciate that I have a good chance to slip away due to my good connections. Whether I am abolitionist or slavedriver myself, however - that should be meaningless when it comes to handle cargo...? We do business, not philosophy or politics.
When I'm in arrears, after reaching a town and taking in the stagecoach goods (with pocketing money, of course), I would like to give my poor employees their revenues. Especially if I plan to leave the town the same day. I mean, what shall they do there without money while I am making new arrangements, while giving them their share when we are on the road again? As a role playing gamer I could consider them having a better time immediately after a tough one - and on the other hand it would be a good prevention of spending the money in buying goods instead of paying my debts before. Thus, a "pay now" button would be nice for such cases.
