Hello, I just bought this game and it doesn't even launch. Everytime I click on the desktop icon nothing happens.

I'm trying to run it on a Windows 7 64 machine, 32 GB ram, i7 3.8ghz, Nvidia GTX 680.

Did anyone else have any similar issues with this game?

I saw it came out on Steam now, I chose to buy it here on Gog instead. I would be disappointed if steam version was working correctly. :(

Having the same problem here. I click the icon (tried it in admin mode as well), and absolutely nothing happens.

Same here. MacBook Air (mid-2013), Intel HD 5000 graphics - does not work under Parallels (virtualization), and does not work under Boot Camp (booting directly into Windows). I get nothing but a black screen.

...and Norther78's solution worked fine for me. You may want to give it a try.

That still doesn't work for me. After the intro, I get a black screen, and have to kill the process in task manager to get out of it.

Has anybody contacted support?

I can't get this game to work at all either. Every time I try to launch the game it returns the error: "fallen.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close." I tried "fix_directx=1" in the config file, but that did not work either. Is there any other way to fix this?

Has anyone been able to get this game to work? Is there a way to bypass the "fallen.exe" errors?
