it may seems stupid, but i would like to read something resembling the form of a manual about this game, at least just to know the bare keyboard commands, ie how to exit the game, etc.
any help out there?!

There is a readme.txt file, but most of the documentation is built into the game. You login to the Uplink Internal Services System (if you played the tutorial, this is where you downloaded the Password Breaker software) and choose the Help system from the Main Menu.

But yeah, not much info otherwise. I just came from their website and couldn't really find anything there either. I guess the first rule at Uplink is...

1, You Don't Talk About Uplink.

There's pretty much nothing about the game you cannot learn by simply playing it; anything you cannot find out easily how to do, then it's not essential to the game (could be an easter egg, search the web).
