I've started seeing these jobs. All the one's I've gotten to say things like "This man is living life too easy. Change his living status to deceased".

I understand there's a bit of a moral compass in the game that affects the gameplay, with more "morally good" outcomes being better for the overall story. But this obviously sounds like this is going to negatively affect the person.

Do these jobs have a negative affect on your moral rating? Will this have any impact on the story? Will this cause this person to be added to the "You Ruined # people's lives" at the end of the game? Because I'm not feeling much in the mood to be a jerk today!

Yes, it will decrease your neuromancer rating. As a rule of thumb if you do anything against individuals (changing ID, adding something to criminal record and so on) your rating will drop. Especially if that person is a hacker (there are missions like "trace the hacker that messed with us") Obviously, everything you do against companies (steal a file, destroy database etc.) will increase your rating. But believe me - it's very hard to have positive neuromancer rating.

It does affect you in this sense that when your rating becomes negative other hackers won't trust you so they won't give you those noble anti-company missions. You will get, however, more missions about destroying someone's life ;)

AFAIR the main story is unaffected by this rating. You can finish the game however you like anyway.
