Unreal Tournament, Unreal Tournament 2004, or Unreal Tournament III?

Well I personally only play the original and just ignore all the sequals, although I don't mind UTIII or UT2004 occasionally but there is no replacement for the original in my opinion as far as I am concerned UT99 is the greatest Multiplayer FPS ever made.

I agree with cpc464 about 99' as I'm still playing it. Although 2004 isn't bad you should avoid unreal tournament 3 as its just not as responsive as 99' and gets frustrating control wise. Just feels wrong if there's such a thing.

What about Unreal Tournament 2003??

I really miss this one, even if it´s more or less included on UT2004, :(

I play '99 and 2004 now and then, but sadly never had the chance to play 2003 a huge amount and I'm not a huge fan of the third game either.

Are there still a lot of people in the Instagib games on UT99?

I'm still playing UT99. I couldn't like UT2004 so much, it's not a bad game of course, but... These two have still active players (as i observed UT2004 has more).

I mostly play UT2K4, single player, off-line against bots.

The Player'z Den (mispelling intentional) in Johnstown, PA just started Fragging Thursdays this week. Basically, six of us played UT '99 for about three hours.

Since last patch some 2(?) years ago, UT3 has become as good as UT1, but is some different, so I prefer UT3 now, but sometimes I play UT1 too which is still excellent. I almost didn't play UT2004.

I like UT99 because its basic, no DRM, no cd key, no hassle... and plus the music I love forgone destruction, which reminds me if anyone knows where can I find more music like this?
