Can anyone (or a GOG staff member) tell me what additional material (e.g. maps) is on the UT2004 servers? Only I noticed ONS-Ascendancy on there but that's not part of the standard install.
I'm just wondering what else is on there as the download speed for ONS-Ascendancy through the game isn't fast enough for me. It's only 17154K, yet it was taking ages and I only got 4% (hence my drop out from the server). Don't know why it was taking ages though as my ping to the EU server is fine.
If we know what additional materials are on the server then maybe we can get them from elsewhere and thus at a faster download speed.

I had the same problem when trying to play on the GOG servers the first time I went to this site:

I got the mega pack, didn't get the editors choice pack as its in the mega pack then I got all the community packs and the extra bonus maps. It may have been a little overkill not sure but I don't need to download from the GOG server anymore.

I already have the Mega Bonus Pack installed, but not the community bonus packs. Did a little bit of Googling and found out about ONS-Ascendancy and ONS-Aridoom being two bonus ONS maps as part of the Atari released "XP Levels Pack". I've just finished downloading it so will give it a try.

The answer to that is easy, though. The version on GOG is version 3369 with Editor's Choice Edition. That is all that you get with the GOG version. However, as I found whilst trying to use their EU server, they have extra bonus pack content installed, though it is free to download anyway. They just hadn't made it known what was installed on the server.
But thanks for the list there, I wasn't aware of the 0wnage maps, AS-Confexia or DM-Forbidden.
