usually I play on X-Fire...lists all the servers for you and there are communities you can join and such.

apparently the communities are still going strong today but if you go on they are pretty tight knit and good. Im in the same boat as you so hows about getting UT2004 (apparently the best game) and we can play.

If you get ut2k4, check out Team Arena Master mod, it is one of the most played modes nowadays, and on some servers there are people playing almost any time, at least in Europe, I dont know about other regions.
3.141 is the latest version I think.
