Hello everyone,
I've done some searching on these forums and the net, but haven't found much information that clearly explains my question, so I'm hoping someone here can help me out. :-)
Does the GOG.com version of UT:GOTY include ngStats and ngWorldstats or a comparable program? If it has a comparable program, which is it?
Thanks in advance,
DonValor

AFAIK, UT:GOTY doesnt include 3rd party programs like that one. Maybe ngStats can be made to work with the GOG release of UT: goty

Thanks for your response.
In theory, if UT:GOTY still generates the needed logs, a UT specific copy of ngStats should be able to process them. The hard part would be getting my hands on a copy of it. Since NetGamesUSA was bought by Microsoft, the software is no longer provided. I've been able to find another program called "UTStats" that works in a similar fashion, but it seems geared towards UT server admins as it requires a SQL database to function.
I'll keep looking and post anything else I find.

Did you try asking in those UT community sites like ut99.org ?
I wasn't aware of them! I'll check it out! Thanks!
Woohoo! I found my old copy of Unreal Tournament while cleaning out the garage! :-) So this has become a non-issue for me. However, for those that may ask later, here is more info I found (Thanks to DRMLessGames for the help) :
ngStats is a program that parses the log files Unreal Tournament creates during gameplay into an easy-to-read HTML format. This in turn allows you to see how well you play the game, what your favorite weapon is, how many frags you've accumulated, etc.
It seems that the version of UT:GOTY sold here does not include third-party programs like ngStats.
UTStatsDB (http://www.utstatsdb.com/) is a free replacement. The file you would get is the StandAlone that has a pre-congifured Apache server with PHP extensions.
While this is mainly stuff that server admins use, I liked to look at these when my buddies and I had LAN parties to see everyone's stats.
Hope this helps someone!

NGStats should be in the game (don't have GOG package)
NGWorldStats was shut down several years ago, but I'm one of the mantainer of this project
http://code.google.com/p/utlogcollector/
This suppose that using a dedicated NGStat installation on a server machine, it can collect several servers info and display to all, using NGWorldStats code. The software is all deployed, miss only servers :)
