Hi!
Decided to remember "The Old Days" and bought all Unreal Games (Unreal Gold, Unreal 2, UT99 and UT2004).

Installed DX10-renderer, Max textures etc.
Used Alchemy to get the EAX-support back and specially wanted to get the reverbs, that Creative published later.
It took a while to get all the files, but found them eventually. The problem is, that I cannot install the Creative updates (Eaxutsys, Uteaxctf and uteaxdm)!

They launch and after that they don't do anything. When checking the task manager, the installers just stand there on the backgrouind doing nothing. Compatibility settings don't help at all...

Does anybody, if there is a manual way to add the files? They cannot be extracted from the .exe files... Maybe somebody could pack them and publish them as a zip- or Rar-file.... With instructions where to decompress them...

Hi there, did you manage to find a solution ? I am in the same situation here... windows 11 and when I click on the exe, it is stuck and doesn't install anything.
I tried to unpack the exe, but I was not able to find the needed files...
Does anybody have the eax files to share?
Possibly you will need to run the installers as admin, or run in compatibility mode for XP.

However, if that fails here is a RAR with the files extracted from the installers

Just drag the contents to the UT folder and let it overwrite the galaxy renderer (or rename the original)

Don't forget to edit the unrealtournament ini goto [Galaxy.GalaxyAudioSubsystem] andenable everything you need and set the audio options to more modern settings, like 48000Hz, 32 effects channels, etc.
