Hey guys, I'm hoping that someone can help.
I have the original version of UT2k4 (not the GOG version) and that game stopped working once I got my GeForce 8800GT. The game starts but would crash the computer (forcing manual reboot) after a few minutes. It did this even when simply going through the menus to setup my controls.
I'm wondering if the GOG version of the game actually fixed this issue or not, can anyone confirm? Thanks!

You have the latest drivers right?

Either you haven't got updated drivers or your copy of the game is buggered, I also have a 8800GT and my game (from gog) works fine. Apart from me somehow having issues with the Chaos mod :).

I do have the most current drivers. Perhaps the GOG version does fix some weird problem in the original.
