Hi, Im considering buying ut2k4, mostly because of the cdkey for online play. Does this version of ut2k4 come with a cdkey valid for online play? And do the unreal gold and unreal tournament goty titles come with a valid cdkey too?

The wonderfull thing about GOG is that you don´t need cdkey.
So yes you can play online. :-)
With some games here on GOG you get a cdkey so you can play online. I don´t know if thats the case with Unreal.

As Besse said, ut2k4 works online. Unreal Tournament GOTY never used a CDkey and you can play online w/o having one.

Ah thanks for the replies. Hmm, so unreal tournament goty didnt use a cdkey, but ut2k4 did, so my concern was that if a gog.com bought ut2k4 would come with a valid key that could work in any ut2k4 server i joined.

maybe I don't understand your wording but..
UT2k4 from GOG.com works on any server you join. No CDkey required for install, it's already in the game.

Ah ok, great, that's what i wanted to know. So it does have a cdkey, thanks. So, when i buy the game, are the downloadeable files the game installation that i have to install on the hard drive, or does it play right out of the download?
