Sound of my system decreases down to only 10-20% every time the game starts, anyone got an idea of why and how to fix that, cause that is sooooooo very very very annoying.

I'm at a total loss as to why it does this...

Also, why must Ut2004.exe be run as admin?

In Windows, go to Control Panel, Hardware and Sound, Sound, Communications Tab, and set it to "Do nothing".

UT2004 doesn't usually have to be run as admin. It's probably GOG's fault:

Did that months before this issue, even checked to see if that was the cause. But it isn't.
I'm at a loss as to what causes this....
