Can GOG get the soundtrack to Unreal 1? It isn't in the included goodies and it's a shame too as it defines the Unreal engine for me; much like that of Deus Ex, and how Alex Seropian's CD score for Marathon 1 defines the Vulcan and Aleph One engines.

You actually already have the complete soundtrack. :) It is stored in the root folder of your Unreal Gold installation.
However, the audio files are in UMX format, a typical back-in-the-day standards for Unreal Engine.
To be able to listen to them, you'll need a software called ModPlug Player. You can grab it [url=ftp://ftp.untergrund.net/users/sagamusix/openmpt/archive/mpp/mpp1.46.02.zip]here[/url].

Most of the UMX files do actually play under VLC Player. If you happen to use Foobar2000, there's also the "DUMB Module decoder" plugin that works even better with the files. Interestingly, the Foobar plugin also reveals that some files have multiple songs within them.
