Hello,

Is tehre any way to disable, or at least tone down those ugly reflections? --> imgur. com/a/sg6ab3Q

They would make sense on some surfaces, but they are overdone plus it doesn't make any sense to have rocks that act like mirrors. Just for the record, I'm using unofficial DX11 renderer --> www.moddb. com/mods/unreal-directx11-renderer-for-ut-ug-rune-and-dx

Also: maybe there is some other (better) renderer I could use? The DX11 one looks and performs fine to me, those reflections are the only problem.

I'm not 100 % sure but it could be the ShinySurfaces=True part in the [D3D11Drv.D3D11RenderDevice] section of the Unreal.ini (...\Unreal Gold\System) that you need to change from True to False.

That didn't help unfortunately. Couple other settings (from advanced options) also didn't change anything. If anything, those removed floor reflections, that actually made sense.

I feel like I will have to try different renderer...
This did it for me :

- Inside Unreal
- Options
- Advanced Options
- Rendering
- Direct3D 11 Support
- Set SSR to False ( SSR = Screen-Space Reflections )
- Close Advanced Options Window

The game should then restart the renderer and surfaces should be without reflections.
